Prince William is sporting a regal new look.
The Prince of Wales debuted a brand new beard while appearing in a montage video for the 2024 Olympics alongside his wife, Kate Middleton, Snoop Dog, David Beckham, and other U.K. standouts.
In the video shared to social media Aug. 11, the now rugged-looking royal was seen sporting a blue polo shirt featuring the Olympics logo. As for the Princess of Wales—who has taken a step back from public duties amid her ongoing cancer treatment—she shared a quick message of appreciation, noting, “From all of us watching at home, congratulations to Team GB.”
“Well done for all you’ve achieved,” the son of King Charles III and the late Princess Diana added. “You’ve been an inspiration to us all.”
The couple, who share Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6, were not in attendance at the Paris games, but did tease that they would be celebrating with the Olympic athletes “later in the summer,” according to the post’s caption.
ICYMI, the British Olympic team collectively earned 65 medals, including 14 gold, at the Games, ranking in third place behind China and the United States, whose athletes pushed the country to No. 1 with 126 medals, including 40 gold.
And though neither William nor Kate attended the games, two of William’s aunts, Princess Anne and Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, were spotted in France for the historic occasion.
Amid her diagnosis, Kate has significantly dialed back her public appearances, notably attending the Trooping the Colour parade in June and the Wimbledon championships in July.
William’s last public appearance took place in mid-July alongside his eldest son Prince George at the UEFA EURO 2024 soccer final where Spain beat England.
