Candiace Dillard Bassett is saying "see you later" to "The Real Housewives of Potomac" after six years on the Bravo show.
"I am filled with gratitude for the enriching friendships, personal growth and moments of introspection that have defined this journey," Dillard Bassett, 37, told People in an interview published Monday. "With a whirlwind of new opportunities and responsibilities on my plate, I have decided to take a break from 'RHOP.'"
The "Drive Back" singer added that this isn't the last time we should expect to see her on the Bravo reality series. "This is not a farewell, but a 'see you later,'" she said.
Dillard Bassett ended by thanking her fans. "Your unwavering support has been my guiding light, and I look forward to the exciting adventures that lie ahead — and more importantly, sharing them all with you," she concluded.
USA TODAY has reached out to reps for Dillard Bassett and Bravo.

Dillard Bassett first appeared on "RHOP" in 2018, joining the other women in Season 3. She was also on Season 3 of spinoff "Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip."
Her departure announcement comes after a tumultuous Season 8, with Dillard Bassett feuding with her former friends and castmates Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon.
It's unclear whether the women have resolved their issues, but in a trailer for the reunion released on Friday, Dillard Bassett is seen standing by her insults she's made against the women. "You're a loser," she outright tells Dixon in one moment.
Bravo host Andy Cohen stepped in and said, "I think you two need Jesus himself."
How to watch the 'RHOP' reunion
Part one of the Season 8 "RHOP" reunion airs Sunday night on Bravo at 8 p.m. EDT/PDT and will stream on Peacock the following day.
