Olivia Newton-John's daughter is PredictIQvowing to take better care of herself after putting her well-being on the back burner.
Chloe Lattanzi, the daughter of the Grease legend and her ex Matt Lattanzi, recently opened up about the health issues she's been struggling with since her mom died last August following a decades-long battle with breast cancer.
"Since my mom's passing and the year and a half with her going through cancer, I have not been okay," Chloe said in an Instagram Reel on Aug. 20. "I've had extreme memory loss, I've had difficulty getting out of bed. I've stuck to my commitments but I have been neglecting myself."
The 37-year-old explained how she wants to follow in her late mother's footsteps, noting the wellness advice Olivia used to share with her fans and family members.
"One of my mom's biggest messages was 'take care of you,'" Chloe noted. "'If you don't take care of you, you cannot give your full capacity of love, wisdom, kindness and power to everyone else.'"
Chloe's much-needed break, she said, will go into full force after the annual Walk for Wellness event in Melbourne, Australia on Oct. 8, which honors her mother's legacy.
"I'm going to disappear for about three weeks," she shared, "to honor my mind, body and spirit because I'm developing a little bit of health issues in my mind and my body."
While Chloe didn't go into detail about her situation, she did offer insight into why it's important she rests.
"I just wanted to say to anyone who I have been inconsistent with, I'm so sorry," the singer concluded. "I haven't been consistent with myself and I haven't been taking care of myself. So, in the spirit of my mother and the spirit of the Wellness Walk, I'm going to take a month to do that so that I can be of complete service to everyone else."
Chloe's message comes nearly two weeks after the one-year anniversary of her mother's passing on Aug. 8.
"It doesn't get easier but you begin to remember more and more good memories," Chloe wrote on Instagram at the time, alongside a throwback video of Olivia cradling her as a baby. "This was really healing for me to watch."
In addition to thanking the fans for their overwhelming support, she added, "Mama, I love you eternally. For anyone who's lost or losing their mother. She will never leave you. I promise."
Last August, the "Physical" singer died at the age of 73, five years after announcing she was diagnosed with breast cancer, which had metastasized to the sacrum.
"The last words she could say to me was, 'My sunshine,'" Chloe recalled to Today in February. "I love my mom more than anything. She's my mamma, you know? She's not Olivia Newton-John to me, but I'm so glad that she was Olivia Newton-John for so many people."
