Hannah Smith’s time outside the villa has taken a turn.
The Love Island USA star was arrested in Georgia’s Cobb County Sept. 30, E! News can confirm.
Hannah was charged, per the booking report obtained by E!, with one charge of willful obstruction of a law enforcement officer and one charge of terroristic threats and acts—both of which are categorized as felonies.
At the time of her arrest, the reality star was at an Atlanta concert venue where she was escorted out for being disorderly, per additional police documents obtained by TMZ. A police officer on the scene tried to escort the 26-year-old to an Uber when she allegedly tried punch the officer with a closed fist.
Though handcuffed, Hannah, according to the documents obtained by TMZ, attempted to kick the officer multiple times. She was then placed under arrest and, on the way to jail, allegedly threatened to kill the officer and the officer’s sister multiple times.
Hannah was ultimately released on bail the following day, E! can confirm. She has yet to address her arrest publicly, though she has continued to post on social media.
E! News has reached out to a rep for Hannah for comment but has not yet heard back.
Hannah was one of the original Islanders on 2024’s season six of Love Island USA, where she was first coupled up with Kendall Washington.
Her time on the show was relatively short-lived, however, and Kendall eventually went on to couple up with Islander Nicole Jacky. And while Nicole and Kendall were one of the five couples to make it to the show’s finale—losing to Serena Page and Kordell Beckham—what seemed like true love soon showed cracks once they left the villa.
“On August 18th, Kendall and I agreed our relationship was worth working on,” Nicole wrote in an Aug. 20 Instagram Story. “We were making plans for me to visit him in Dallas soon. However, today, August 20th, he called and ended things.”
Nicole admitted that her ex’s decision took her by surprise.
“While I understand and respect his decision, it’s hard to process this one,” she continued. “I opened up to him in the villa, and I still love him for now. I’m struggling mentally and all I ask for is privacy during this time.”
For his part, Kendall shared his own thoughts on the split.
“I have decided to end things with Nicole,” he wrote in an Aug. 20 Instagram Story. “It reached a point where it was not healthy for us to continue a relationship. I still love and care for Nicole. I’ve never developed such strong feelings for a woman in my life.”
However, there were no hard feelings on his end.
“I have no regrets for the connection I made with her in the villa and it was real,” he added. “She does not deserve any hate. Please stop with the negative comments/DM’s. We’re taking this time to focus on our mental health. Thank you guys.”
