Taylor Swift is going viral with yet another sweet gesture.
On Thursday, during the first Los Angeles concert of her blockbuster Eras Tour, the singer gifted her hat to Bianka Bryant, the daughter of late basketball star Kobe Bryant.
The heartwarming moment made the rounds Friday morning, as a video circulated on social media of Swift hugging the 6-year-old and giving her a peck on the cheek.
"So special," mom Vanessa Bryant captioned an Instagram photo of the poignant interaction. She also shared a video of her late husband, Kobe, presenting Swift with a championship banner for the most sold-out shows at Staples Center in 2015.
Kobe died in 2020 in a helicopter crash with their 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, and seven others. The Los Angeles Laker's widow, Vanessa, wore a denim jacket to Thursday's concert adorned with a picture of Kobe and Swift together. The coat also included a heart with the words "Say you'll remember me" – lyrics to the Grammy winner's song "Wildest Dreams."
At each of her shows, Swift picks a fan to come to the front of the stage during the song "22" so she can give them her black bowler hat. Past recipients have included Selena Gomez's little sister, Gracie, and young TikTok star Mikael Arellano, who created the popular dance to Swift's "Bejeweled."
Swift is capping off the months-long U.S. leg of her Eras Tour with a six-show run at LA's SoFi Stadium. On Thursday, she announced additional North American stops in Toronto, New Orleans, Indianapolis and Miami in fall 2024.
Earlier this week, the pop star made headlines for giving more than $55 million in bonuses to the entire crew of her Eras Tour, including dancers, sound technicians, caterers and more. That also included the tour's truck drivers, who have transported equipment from city to city and each received a $100,000 bonus.
